In an interview by Men's Health, it was revealed that Asghari was born in Tehran, Iran. When he was 12 years old, he eventually emigrated to America and settled in Los Angeles with his father. He told the magazine, "I had to leave my friends and family who I was very close with, and I knew I was moving away and never coming back."
