In her most recent Instagram video, posted on October 9, the 41-year-old singer indicated playfully that she would be interested in collaborating with the 53-year-old rapper. However, this notion was met with disapproval from some netizens.

The video featured Britney dancing energetically to Beyonce's hit song 'Daddy Lessons' from the 2016 album 'Lemonade'. In her caption, Britney mentioned that several remixes of her songs had been done without her knowledge and playfully proposed adding a rap to one of her tracks in collaboration with Jay-Z.
She wrote, "So many people have done remixes to my songs without my knowledge … so I guess it's safe to say I will be redoing this song eventually !!! Just need to meet Jay-Z and add a rap to it … what's up ???"
