MURRAY, UTAH: Christine Brown, along with her daughters Mykelti Padron and Aspyn, planned her 50th birthday party.
However, Christine revealed that she would not invite her ex-husband, Kody Brown, and sister wives Meri and Robyn, to her birthday bash.
In the latest preview of 'Sister Wives' Season 18 Episode 5 obtained by Access Hollywood, Christine and her daughters decided the birthday party should be 1950s-themed since Christine was turning 50.
However, things got a bit awkward when the mother and daughters discussed who would be invited to the party.
In a confession, Christine revealed that she wouldn't invite Kody, Meri, Robyn and their kids even though she is still in contact with Kody's kids.
Recalling an old moment the reality star said, "So many of our family gatherings were tense. I didn't feel like I was really a wife, I just felt like a second-class citizen a lot of the time."
Christine added, "So I really am only going to invite people that I really want to hang out with and that it's going to be easy and relaxing and no drama."
However, Christine was excited to invite her fellow sister wife Janelle Brown as the two are still very close.
While discussing the guest list, Christine and Kody's daughter Mykelti suggested considering inviting her grandma, Genielle and Kody's friends.
Although Mykelti changed the idea of inviting Kody's close ones, the social media users slammed her for even considering it.

Mykelti Padron felt betrayed after 'Sister Wives' star Kody Brown took Aurora to get her ears pierced in the previous episode of 'Sister Wives' Season 18.
In a lengthy Instagram post, influencer Katie Joy revealed that Mykelti talked about Kody's hypocrisy on Patreon.
Mykelti confessed that all of her sisters were "extremely hurt" and never expected that the patriarch would choose to film this event.
She further revealed that Kody strictly forebade all his daughters from getting piercings while they were living under his roof.
Shockingly, Kody allowed Robyn Brown's daughter Aurora to get ear-piercings and even went along with her.
Mykelti further admitted that her sisters felt they had a different dad who was actually very rude about earrings and piercings.

Kody and Christine Brown's son Padeon made shocking claims about Meri Brown in an interview with John Yates.
Padeon admitted in the interview that Meri went beyond emotionally abusive behavior.
Gwendlyn Brown also shared a similar perspective on her social media and claimed that it happened only "once."
Gwendlyn addressed her brother's allegations against Meri and alleged that she only witnessed Meri being "violent" once with her sister Mykelti Padron. However, Mykelti shared that she couldn’t recall being assaulted.
Meanwhile, Mykelti Padron appeared to back Meri and debunk the assault allegations.

She starts the video by saying that this is her "personal experiences and opinions of Meri, not her siblings."
Mykleti also revealed that she doesn't recall Meri being "physically abusive" to her. The reality star claimed, "She was very emotionally and verbally abusive to all of us when we were younger."

Mykelti Padron turned 26 on June 9, 2023. Mykelti is Kody's fifth-eldest child and second-oldest daughter of Christine Brown.
Mykelti was one of the first of Kody's daughters to find love. She studied at the University of Las Vegas in October 2015 and started dating Tony Padron.
