LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Snoop Dogg shared some insights into his global marijuana network in a recent appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', detailing how he keeps his friends "medicated and dedicated."
Snoop Dogg, real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, has long been a strong supporter of marijuana legalization, per USA Today. He has even started many cannabis-related businesses, including his own cannabis product line, Leafs By Snoop.
Snoop Dogg's global marijuana contacts
Snoop Dogg revealed he has an extensive international network for procuring marijuana on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'.
The famed rapper confirmed his far-reaching connections when questioned by the host about an incident where comedian Mike Epps sought his assistance in locating cannabis in Iceland.
The rapper, whose new cookbook 'Goon with the Spoon' comes out on November 14, stated that he has a contact or knows someone who does in nearly every country around the globe.
The musician confidently asserted his reach extends to countries like Mexico and Ireland, with North Korea being the sole exception.
"Well, last time I checked I was the plug to your plug," Snoop stated. "I’m the connect. It’s good to have friends that have friends that are international and global and able to get you medicated and dedicated no matter where you at."
Kimmel then proceeded to list out various countries that Snoop Dogg has visited, asking him to confirm if he had a marijuana contact in each. The rapper responded affirmatively for all countries, including Mexico and Ireland, with the sole exception being North Korea.
He stated, "Oh no, I ain’t got nobody there." However, it was later clarified that Snoop had mistaken North Korea for South Korea. Despite the mix-up, he admitted that he didn't have marijuana "access" in South Korea either.
The rapper shared he had to be quite careful when he was in North Korea with the South Korean musician Psy ('Gangnam Style' fame) saying, "I didn't have no access over there cuz that man over there don't play no game, so I was over there being a studious American citizen."
