LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift is in her "Queen era" and nobody can deny that. After winning the hearts of thousands through her ongoing ‘Eras Tour’, Swift is all set to release her concert film ‘The Eras Tour’ which has broken Justin Bieber's 'Never Say Never' record in presales alone.
The concert film, slated for an October release, has minted over $100 million in advance global ticket sales, per The Hollywood Reporter.
When is 'The Eras Tour' movie releasing?
Swift’s highly-anticipated concert film about her blockbuster tour will be released to 8500 theaters globally on October 13.
Two days before the global release, the film will premiere at the AMC Theatres in Los Angeles on October 11.
The film is expected to rake in another $100 million to $125 million from the North American market alone.
‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ concert film will be shown in around 100 countries through AMC Theatres and its American and international partners Variance Films, Trafalgar Releasing, Cinepolis and Cineplex.
All of the AMC Theatres in the US will be screening the film at 6 pm local time on October 13. Cinemark and Regal Cinemas along with AMC will be screening the film too.
Justin Bieber’s ‘Never Say Never’
‘Justin Bieber: Never Say Never’ released in 2011 and was a 3-D concert film chronicling 10 days counting down to his greatest performance ever — that of the Madison Square Garden on August 31, 2010.
Made at a budget of $13 million, the film raked in $99 million worldwide with its worldwide sales reaching $99,033,954 per Box Office Mojo.
It also held the title of highest-grossing concert movie of the US since 1984.
Per Deadline, the film minted an opening of $29.5 million.

Judging the numbers, someone aptly said, "Taylor is an economic force to be reckoned with!"
"She slays every breath she takes," said an enamored fan of the 'Lavender Haze' songstress.
Someone else is marveling at the, "The fact that’s not even released yet is crazy."
"Its not overall sales yet," said another fan.
Another hailed the queen saying, "She is who she thinks she is."
Someone lse quipped, "Please don’t compare Taylor to Justin. Queen has been killing it since day one."
‘Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé’
2023 will be a year of concert movies as Beyonce has also announced the release of her concert film by the title, ‘Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce’.
Per Deadline, Queen Bey’s film also opened with a bang as the presales number just after the day of announcement stands on $6M-$7 million.
The numbers, which do not include the data from AMC, are expected to rise if the theatre chain releases its figures.
On October 1, Beyonce took to her Instagram to announce the release date of her concert film on December 1. The tickets are expected to be priced at $22.
