During her Eras Tour concert in Cincinnati, Taylor Swift was in the midst of a slow song when the Cincinnati Reds set off fireworks next door, disrupting the Evermore Era.

Taylor Swift fans across the globe have scrambled to score tickets for her concerts, but not everyone in Cincinnati was at The Eras Tour at Paycor Stadium on Friday night. MLB fans were next door at Great American Ballpark watching the red-hot Cincinnati Reds play the San Diego Padres. The Reds won in extra innings, beating the Padres 7-5 in walk-off fashion off a two-run home run by Spencer Steer.

The Reds have Fireworks Friday after home games on Fridays. Unfortunately for Taylor Swift fans at her Cincinnati concert, the fireworks after the Reds game coincided with the concert going on next door. Fans were immersed in the Evermore Era when the Reds set off their fireworks display.

Evermore Era was disrupted by Fireworks Friday

Taylor Swift's evermore album is full of slow, melodic tunes along with Swift's meaningful lyrics. An entire stadium full of Taylor Swift fans who paid to see her were pulled from their trance when the fireworks went off, interrupting the Evermore Era. The fireworks competed with the music, making it difficult to hear Swift's song.

Sadly, the end of the baseball game did not land during an upbeat Taylor Swift Era. The fireworks erupted during "tolerate it" from Evermore, drowning out the song's beautiful piano intro. Yikes. Fans had to tolerate the background noise during a slow song. Next door, Reds fans celebrated the walk-off win in style.

The fireworks were untimely, especially considering Swift has plenty of upbeat jams that would have been more appropriate as a track during a fireworks display. Perhaps, "Shake it Off"? "You Belong With Me"? "Sparks Fly" could work nicely. Or maybe "Red" from the Red album to signify the Cincinnati Reds' win.

The Reds unintentionally spoiled a peaceful concert moment. Whoops. No bad blood here, though. Sorry, Swifties!
