LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘The View’ host Ana Navarro embarks on a last-minute trip with her friends after the popular talk show makes a major change in its schedule. The host took to social media to share her trip to Cartagena, Columbia over Memorial Day weekend.
Navarro, 51, took off for a Memorial Day weekend getaway in Colombia with her three friends after their spouses refused to go along. After ‘The View’ announced a major schedule change for Friday, May 26 broadcast to be a repeat episode of April 4, the host took a vacation to enjoy some personal time. The change was due to the challenges faced by the hosts as a result of the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike.

‘Golden Girls Gone Wild Weekend’
After ‘The View’ re-aired a previous episode on Friday, May 26, host Ana Navarro utilized the off days and escaped to enjoy a trip with her friends in Columbia. She took to Instagram to share a clip from the getaway with a sweet caption referring to her three friends and herself as Golden Girls who were heading out on a “Golden Girls Gone Wild weekend." She continued in her caption, "For his birthday, @leeschrager wanted to go somewhere with his 3 best friends. Bougie divas all of us. Our spouses all conveniently declined the invite. So, here we go! She jokingly added, “Our fat butts are wedged in the back of the plane because flights are packed for the holiday weekend. It took a village of @americanair agents to get us checked-in because you have to fill out some sort of Colombian immigration form online, and none of us could figure out what state Cartagena is in." After Ana and her friends were seated, on their way, Ana continued to give updates to her fans stating, "But here we are, shvitzing in 18 C. Happy and excited to get our Golden Girls Gone Wild Weekend started! (@kengorin_ is Dorothy. Mario is Rose. Lee is Sophia. And I of course, am Blanche). ¡Colombia, pa’ya vamos!"
Ana shared a picture of her own in a pair of dark sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat as she prepared for the flight. She also shared pictures of her friends who looked excited about the trip over the long weekend.

Recently, Ana Navarro glazed her look at the White House Correspondent’s Association dinner in a long and flowing red dress. The gown had a cape-like drape which was scattered over her left arm and fell over her side. She glamorized in light makeup and smokey eye shadow as she pulled her hair back into a slick bun. Ana shared photos of herself on her official Instagram account with actor John Leguizamo, John Quinones, and congressman Joaquin Castro. She gave a sweet caption to the post, “Latinos in the building! Always fun catching up with the “J’s””.
