UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: 'The Voice' Season 24 returned for another round of blind auditions on October 2, with even more outstanding singers earning four chair turns from the coaches. John Legend and Niall Horan also had a good time blocking each other as John discovered his long-lost twin while co-star Niall was viciously ridiculed online.
The latest episode premiered on Monday, with a four-chair performance for an artist named Stee, who sang 'Sugar' by Maroon 5. John was the first to turn around, using his season's only block on Niall. The other coaches eventually pushed their buttons.
Niall was irritated that he couldn't get Stee, but he assured the singer, "I'll steal you at some point." Stee elected to join Team Legend, so the block was well worth it. He also said that his late cousin was a great listener of the coach's music, adding it "helped him get through some tough times."
Later in the episode, Niall exacted his vengeance on John by obstructing him during yet another four-chair turn named Rudi. She delivered a powerful version of Lesley Gore's "You Don't Own Me" on the show. It was ultimately a wasted block when Rudi elected to join Team Gwen.
On X, fans sighed, "Talk about a wasted block Niall!! Blocking John when she was going to pick Gwen!" Another person chimed in, "Niall f****** wasted his only block on this girl and she didn't pick him I'm so mad rn like seriously that was so pissing."
One quipped, "Niall blocked John but it wasn't enough as Rudi chose Gwen's team." A fourth user also joked, "Niall and John playing tic tac toe."

Rudi was worried before her blind audition, since she "can't go back" to her regular life of car washing. "I just need one," stated the young vocalist about the coaches.
Rudi is a vocalist from San Antonio, Texas, who is 28 years old. Rudi was previously featured on Season 1 of 'The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart'.
Niall blocked John's path to Rudi. Gwen, Niall, and Reba all turned to look at Rudi, who was clearly surprised as the coaches squabbled like children.
"I apologize for their antics," Reba apologized.
