Tristan Tate and Rory Synnott spark controversy with unconventional take on open marriages: 'Being a man isn’t for you'

BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Tristan Tate, known for his controversial views, has once again sparked controversy with his opinions on open marriages and relationships. The self-proclaimed alpha-man preacher has shared his highly contentious thoughts on the topic. Meanwhile, Tristan and his brother Andrew Tate, who is currently facing trial for human trafficking, have been placed under house arrest for an additional month. The brothers have been residing in their mansion on the outskirts of the Romanian capital for the past three months, awaiting the court's decision on the charges brought against them.

While using social media to rally support, particularly from young boys by promoting hyper-masculine lifestyles, the brothers have managed to sway a certain group of individuals who share similar views. However, their actions have also garnered significant criticism, with many accusing them of being misogynistic, bigoted, and deeply problematic. As a result of their controversial content, Tristan and Andrew have been banned from major social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Nevertheless, they continue to maintain an active presence on Twitter and through their various podcasts.

'Being a man isn’t for you'

During a recent episode of 'Cigar Night Q&A with Tristan Tate', the controversial topic of open marriages and open relationships was brought up. Special guest Rory Synnott briefly shared his differing opinion on the matter. Open marriages involve couples choosing to expand the boundaries of their marital exclusivity by allowing additional partners into their relationship. This concept has gained popularity among couples in recent times. Tristan took the opportunity to delve further into his perspective on open marriages.

Tristan expressed his belief that engaging in behavior such as sharing a woman in any form is not how men should conduct themselves. According to him, if someone participates in such actions, it indicates that marriage and even the concept of being a man may not be suitable for them. He said, "That’s not how men should be. If you engage in degenerate behavior like sharing a woman in any shape or form, marriage isn’t for you. Being a man isn’t for you.”

Rory expressed his agreement with Tate's opinion, questioning the purpose of getting married if one engages in such behavior. He further added that the mere thought of such actions sends shivers down his spine.

Synnott stated, "Why get married if you do that as well? The thought of that sends shivers down my spine.” It appeared that both of them shared a strong consensus in maintaining their heteronormative beliefs about marriage.

Rory Synnott, a boxer and close ally of both Andrew and Tristan , has consistently supported the brothers, especially as they face trial for alleged trafficking. He has publicly expressed his backing for them on multiple occasions, utilizing various platforms, including social media.

Will Tristan Tate leave Romania?

During the same podcast, Tristan addressed a question regarding his desire to leave Romania. Given his current house arrest, he explained that he is unable to leave the country. However, even if the circumstances were different, he stated that he still wouldn't choose to depart Romania.

Expanding on his assertion that his business operates within the bounds of the law, Tristan emphasized that his business is entirely based in Romania. While he acknowledges that he could run his business from anywhere in the world, he consciously decides to remain in Romania because it is his home. He made it clear that he does not hold the Romanian people or the judicial system responsible for his current situation.
