DETROIT, MICHIGAN: The internet is buzzing about Ninja, a renowned Twitch figure after he seemed to mock the 'Call of Duty' game community.
In a widely viewed video on X, formerly known as Twitter, Ninja mentioned 'Modern Warfare 3' and criticized it for being "riddled with glitches and cheaters."
He further stated that the game developer would likely need "months" just to "fix one issue." While he commended the gunplay in 'Modern Warfare 3', he made negative remarks about 'Call of Duty' gamers.
Twitch streamer Ninja criticizes 'COD' players ahead of 'Modern Warfare 3' release
On October 9, Ninja said during his recent livestream, “I'm going to go out on a limb and say that - the new CoD is going to be riddled with glitches and cheaters when it launches."
He continued, "And it'll take them months to even fix one issue. But guess what? The gunplay is still going to be good, and people are going to be j*****g over the mobility that you disgusting, mentally abused... like, players are going to fall for it!”
He added, “And, you're going to keep playing it and keep playing it, and be like, 'Dude, they've just got to fix one or two of these glitches, man!'”
And then, Ninja added, “Eight months are going to go by, and viewership is going to be dead. You guys are going to be sitting here playing any other game under the sun.”
Finally, after all hope is lost, Ninja claimed that Call of Duty fans will watch trailers for the next upcoming game, and fall right back into the same loop again.
Internet reacts to Ninja’s statement about 'Modern Warfare 3'
Ninja’s video shared on social media platform X by @ModernWarzone has garnered countless reactions from fans. While some seemed to agree with Ninja, some called him out for "trying to stay relevant."
Slamming Ninja, one internet user wrote, “That man will do anything these days to stay relevant.” While another added, “This man literally defended Halo 4 when it was out, so I don’t wanna hear anything from him.”
Another took a massive jab at the streamer, writing, “Let people enjoy what they enjoy. Let people get excited if they’re excited. Negativity like this is nothing but a nuisance, LOL. The past few years have been rough. COD viewership has struggled. But if people are having fun, let them.”
Another fan said, “I won’t feel bad about being excited. It’s been a massive part of my gaming life for 20 years. Something that’s been around for that long will inevitably have ups and downs. Those who “roast” others for being happy about things are the worst.”
Not stopping here, someone mentioned, “He just described it like every big live service game....including Fortnite.”
