MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Kylie Jenner arrived at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, on Wednesday, November 1 for the Wall Street Journal Magazine 2023 Innovator Awards, stealing the show with her presence.
The 26-year-old reality TV star looked stunning in a sleeveless black gown. The gown consisted of a PVC bustier top and a flowing bottom, which showed off her toned arms.
'The Kardashian' starlet donned voluminous, bouncy curls that cascaded down her back, complemented by chunky gold earrings.
As for her appearance, the mom-of-two looked stunning with her bronze eyeshadow that drew attention to her eyes and a touch of pink blush that adorned her cheeks perfectly.
To complete the look, she wore strappy black heels that showed off her dark pedicure.
Her boyfriend Timothee Chalamet, 27, also attended the event and looked dashing in an all-black suit.
The couple chose not to pose together on the red carpet but were spotted sitting side by side at the event.
They arrived separately and did not pose together on the red carpet. However, the 'Dune' star clicked some photos with director Martin Scorsese, 80.
Kylie, on the other hand, posed with designer Haider Ackermann, who created her 2023 Met Gala look.
Kylie Jenner's foray into fashion
Kendall Jenner was being recognized in the 'Brand' category for her new fashion line, Khy. The line was launched yesterday on khy.com.
Jenner is the third person to receive the award in this category. Her sister Kim Kardashian received the award for her SKIMS brand in 2021, and Nike's Mark Parker received it in 2015.
The feat is significant because the brand launched only a week ago.
Recently, Jenner shared a post on X revealing that one of her products, a faux leather trench coat priced at $198, has already sold out.
In the post, she shared a picture of herself wearing the coat, which was paired with high-heeled shoes.
This announcement showcases the early success of Jenner's new venture into the fashion world.
This is Kylie's first major brand extension since launching Kylie Cosmetics, Kylie Skin and Kylie Swim.
WSJ Magazine's Innovator Awards “recognize groundbreaking talents from a range of disciplines, including fashion, art, literature, entertainment, architecture, design, technology, music, philanthropy, cuisine and more” according to their website.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Entertainment), SZA (Music), and Martin Scorsese (Film) were among the honorees of the star-studded night.
Video of Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner goes viral
Jenner and Chalamet sparked romance rumors in April and made their first public appearance together in September at Beyonce's Los Angeles concert. They have been seen together on multiple occasions since then.
A video from yesterday’s event went viral on X where the duo was seen looking bored, as Lenny Kravitz’s 1991 hit 'It Ain’t Over ’til It’s Over' played in the background.
X users made their thoughts known about how they felt about the couple, and needless to say, it wasn’t nice.
One X user said, “They look like siblings”
Another X user wrote, “They look lost lmfaoooo”
Another user wrote, “I’m getting ZERO chemistry”
One user wrote, “Definitely getting a vibe that the end of this relationship is near”
Another user left a snarky remark on the two, “Why cant they sell properly that they r in love? How hard could that be? So dissapointing. Atleast give us a good performance.”
While another user said, “He doesn't look enthused”
One X user wrote, “When does this PR relationship end”
This user perhaps said it best, “Why they look so uncomfortable and weird”
