LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After Jamie Foxx's "medical complication," Tiffany Haddish, 43, wished him "success and healing" in his recovery. While attending the 1st Annual Prom Gala 'A Night Under the Stars' of the She Ready Foundation, Haddish talked about Foxx's health battle and said, "First of all, that's the man. What I can do is pray for him and let him know that there's nothing but love and peace over here for him."
"And I just wish him all the success and healing and all the good stuff. He is probably alright. He just doesn't want to be bothered with y'all," she continued, as reported by People. The 43-year-old commented on his health more than a month after the actor's daughter, Corinne Foxx, took to Instagram on April 12 to issue a statement that her father had experienced a "medical complication."

Foxx experienced a medical complication while filming a movie
Corinne mentioned that while filming the Netflix movie 'Back in Action' in Atlanta, her father "experienced a medical complication." In her Instagram statement, she mentioned that "due to quick action and great care," the actor was "on his way to recovery" at that point. She then dismissed a report claiming that the Foxx family was preparing for the "worst."
"Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support! We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!" Corinne captioned the post.
'I have no idea what happened to him'
In a recent episode of the 'Valuetainment' podcast, Mike Tyson discussed Foxx's health and the delay of his biopic. The film was reportedly paused following Foxx's "medical complication" in April 2023. "He's not feeling well. I have no idea what happened to him," Tyson said of the actor's health.
Talking about Foxx's role in the biopic, the former boxer said, "Well, it was a possibility. I don't know what's going to happen now. But, you know, it's a strong possibility." "You know, Jamie's closer to my age, so in order to portray him, they were going to use the same technique as in 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.' They were going to make him look younger," he revealed.
