DENVER, COLORADO: Bidding farewell to Nashville, Tennessee, the producers of Lifetime's 'Married At First Sight' have settled for Denver, Colorado, as the location of the show's seventeenth season.
All of the participating couples have been selected from the vicinity and the change is expected to deliver a new dynamic to the show, lending it the much-needed dramatic infusion that comes with settling down against a new cultural backdrop.
'Married At First Sight' Season 17 will pitch four and a half new couples against the scenic backdrop of a ski resort down in Denver.
The previous seasons of the show have all been filmed across scenic locations such as Houston, Boston and San Diego and the upcoming installment of the show will not be an exception.

Ever since the show first aired in 2014, it has been documenting the journeys of people in search of love who were willing to take the bold step of marrying a complete stranger upon their very first meeting.
Relationship experts pair up the participants, and they are required to bestow complete faith in the matchmaking process.
The contestants have their initial encounter on their wedding day and then spend the night in a hotel.
Subsequently, they are recorded for eight weeks in accordance with the show's format before embarking on their honeymoon.
