TONTITOWN, ARKANSAS: 'Counting On' alum Josh Duggar, who was convicted of possessing child pornography is in the limelight once again! Duggar allegedly "paid to have sex" with adult film star Danica Dillon, 36, who previously accused him of sexual assault, according to Without A Crystal Ball.
Nevertheless, according to an unnamed friend of Josh who confided in the outlet, this legal matter didn't receive much attention in court, as the former reality star is reportedly "taking care of it."
According to reports, Duggar's friend has known him since 2015, and both individuals graduated from Reformers Unanimous in Illinois while undergoing "treatment."
The acquaintance claimed that Duggar displayed a lack of "remorse" for his reprehensible actions.
The friend further disclosed that Duggar admitted to having an "addiction to online pornography" and revealed that he had been watching Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
Moreover, the acquaintance accused Duggar of engaging in more egregious behavior than what has been publicly disclosed.
He claimed that Duggar had allegedly snuck in a "burner phone" to view the content while he was receiving treatment in Illinois.
Upon learning of the nature of Duggar's activities, the acquaintance promptly reported the information to the staff.
Expressing concern for legal consequences, the friend stated, "I was convinced that they would call the police, and I thought Josh would be arrested."
However, staff members allegedly instructed the acquaintance to "never tell anyone about what Josh told him."
Why did adult film star Danica Dillon sue 'Counting On' alum Josh Duggar?
In 2015, Dillon, who first revealed in August she had violent, though consensual, sex with Duggar, sued him for his alleged aggressive force during two separate sexual encounters in Philadelphia.
However, Duggar had denied the allegations at the time and eventually, Dillon dropped the $500,000 lawsuit.
House Speaker Mike Johnson once campaigned with Josh Duggar
According to a photo posted to his Facebook account, and unveiled by Business Insider, House Speaker Mike Johnson campaigned with Duggar in 2014.
Tony Perkins, who recruited Duggar, is reportedly a close friend and political ally of Johnson.
Johnson also referred to Perkins as his "original mentor" on his radio show, and according to the Washington Post, Perkins has longstanding ties with the Duggar family.
In 2014, Johnson wrote on his Facebook, along with a photo of Duggar, "[T]his will also be the last 2014 stop for the Family Research Council Action bus tour from Washington, D.C., featuring some other friends, such as Josh Duggar, of the Duggar Family, who is Executive Director of FRC Action."
