SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Veteran entertainment reporter Renee Bargh, who was once rumored to be dating Tom Cruise, reportedly reunited with the superstar on Monday, July 3. The Channel 9 host conducted an interview with the actor at the Australian Premiere of 'Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One' at the International Convention Centre in Sydney, as per Daily Mail.
Bargh first addressed rumors that she had dated Cruise three years ago. After she and Cruise "hit it off" during a movie premiere in Paris, speculation was rife that she was secretly dating the 'Oblivion' star in July 2018, as per Woman's Day magazine.
Who is Renee Bargh?
Bargh, 36, is an experienced entertainment journalist. She was been a weekend co-host and correspondent of the Emmy Award-winning entertainment news program, 'Extra,' since 2010. After working as a red carpet reporter for the US entertainment network for 10 years, she returned to Australia three years ago. Given her job in the entertainment field, she often crossed paths with some of the world's biggest celebrities, including Cruise.
Bargh continues to cover entertainment news for 'Extra', along with hosting 'The Voice Australia' and commuting between Sydney and Los Angeles. She has established herself as one of Australia's most talented people and gained fame in the US thanks to 'Extra'. In addition to her abilities as an interviewer, she has covered all of Hollywood's main events and has made a name for herself as a red carpet regular at prestigious events such as the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards among others.

Bargh, who is originally from Byron Bay, moved to Sydney to pursue her ambition. She got her degree from Brent Street Performing Arts College, where she also developed her abilities as a dancer, singer and performer. She also works as a certified health coach.
'Just had a couple of great interviews'
According to Woman's Day, sources that Cruise, who destested giving interviews to the press, made and exception for Bargh. They further claimed that her ability to make him laugh allowed her to bring out the best in the actor. Source alleged, "Tom wanted to keep talking when the cameras were off, and who could blame him?" adding that Bargh had a crush on Cruise.
Altogether Two years later, Bargh put an end to the tattle, calling them "ridiculous" and untrue. She said on the 'The Kyle and Jackie O Show', "We just had a couple of great interviews on a red carpet, I think in Paris, and then someone just wrote that article... it came out of nowhere."
Bargh also spoke about Cruise's height due to the rumors that he wore elevator shoes to give the impression that he was tall. She said that Cruise was "taller than me when I interviewed him. Everybody was mentioning that."
'Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One' is set to hit theatres on July 12.
