LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Blake Shelton announced his departure from 'The Voice' in Season 23. With her husband gone, Gwen Stefani confessed in Season 24's recently released episode that she has been "struggling."
Does this mean that Blake will return to the show as the coach in the upcoming seasons? On Monday's episode, Gwen struggled to get the singers in her team.
Seeing the singers choose other coaches one by one, Gwen admitted to having been struggling as she claimed, "I'm going to have to take my wallet out to get some people on my team."
To this, Niall Horan responded by pretending to call Blake as he said, "I'm calling Blake for backup!" The Sun reports Gwen responding, "I already texted him. I'm struggling!"
However, there is no official confirmation from NBC or Blake's side about his return.
Who are the new coaches of 'The Voice' in Season 25?
'The Voice' in Season 25 coaches lineup has been announced by NBC. And, it seems fans are going to see some new faces ahead. 'The Voice' in Season 25 will have Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney as the show's first-ever coach duo on the show.
The country group duo became the first artists in 2021 to have won a Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance 3 time in a row. Some of their global hits include "Tequila," "Speechless," and "All to Myself."The Pop duo are vocalists and songwriters as well.
It seems Dan and Shay are replacing Gwen in the show since Gwen's name is nowhere to be found in the panel list of 'The Voice' in Season 25.
Chance the Rapper to make his return in 'The Voice' in Season 25
Chance the Rapper made his debut in 'The Voice' in Season 23. He was not seen in Season 24. But the rapper will be returning back to the show in Season 25.
He said to NBC, '“I wanted to be a Coach on The Voice because I like giving platforms to young Artists, especially people who are already seasoned in their trade and know what they’re doing but just need the right spotlight. I wanted to be a part of the process."
John Legend and Reba McEntire continues serving as coach in 'The Voice' Season 25
Besides seeing some new faces, fans will also see some old ones. John Legend and Reba McEntire will continue being the coach in 'The Voice' in Season 25.
Reba talks about her experience in 'The Voice' as a coach. She never thought of herself to be a judge because rejecting someone seemed pretty hard for Reba.
She said, "It was a very popular show in Holland, I'm pretty sure, and I watched the tape, and I said, 'No, I'm going to pass on that,' because I don't think I could ever be able to tell somebody that they're terrible or go find another job or hope you like your nighttime job."
But, it seems she is now doing pretty well in the show.
