LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Felix Lengyel, widely recognized as xQc among his fan base, is a prominent YouTube streamer. He has faced allegations of appropriating content for his reaction videos, resulting in several copyright strikes against him.
xQc, however, has ceased uploading content to YouTube in recent weeks, seemingly to steer clear of encountering another copyright strike that could endanger his account status.
The streamer recently found that his YouTube channel has been taken down. Attempts to access the page led to a message stating, "This page isn't available," along with a suggestion to search for something else.
xQc's YouTube channel gets terminated
As of the latest update, xQc's YouTube channel remains entirely inaccessible, with all of his content seemingly removed from the site.
During a live stream addressing the situation, xQc appeared confused and slightly frustrated as he reacted to the turn of events.
According to his explanation, the sudden "auto-termination" stemmed from unresolved pending counterclaims related to copyright strikes.
xQc seemed optimistic about the reversal of this situation, stating, “I think it’s because, like basically I think some, what the strikes were going to kick in, then I had like a counterclaim, and then it just, it didn’t kick in in time or something like that, and it’s auto-termination, but it gets, it comes back up.”
Despite the setback, xQc appears relatively unfazed about the situation from a personal perspective, expressing disinterest in the financial aspect as he mentioned:
“I’m financially not mad about it and never will, 'cause it was always for people,” he stated.
He added, “YouTube is for people, I don’t care what the amount of money it makes. It sucks that we lose it for now because people don’t get their content, right? But revenue-wise, I haven’t looked twice at it.”
xQc gifted a Christmas present to fan
During his stream on Money chat, one of the conversations caught the attention of xQc's fans as the streamer began chatting with a young boy who instantly recognized him.
The boy then asked if he was livestreaming and, as Felix provided his Kick stream address, the boy asked a friend to snap a photo of him so that others could see that he was interacting with xQc.
The child asked xQc to buy him a PC after the picture knowing that the Canadian streamer is a multimillionaire. However, xQc's unexpected response was heartwarming and took the child by surprise.
After after a few moments, the Kick streamer figured it out and a clip of this moment went viral. In the clip, xQc said, “It worked, yeah it worked, I sent it. Did you get it?”
The young boy immediately burst into tears, confirming the receipt of money to buy a gaming PC. As he thanked xQc again, xQc called the young fan “the best.”
He said, "Man, you’re all good! It costs nothing to me, you know? This is like a, it’s like, it does nothing to me and it does a lot for you, so I’m glad to do it.”
