Pink shuts down troll who compares her to Suzy Eddie Izzard: "A good lesson in ignorance"
Pink hit back at a troll who tried to use a photo of Suzy Eddie Izzard as an insult. The 'So What' singer celebrated her 44th birthday last week, and was inundated with thousands of well wishes from family, friends and fans. But one caught the star's attention – mainly because a random X/Twitter account tried to compare her to Izzard. The viral post simply said "Happy birthday" while tagging Pink, and included a photo of the British stand-up comedian and actor. In response, Pink thanked the account, before explaining that she "just showed my 12 year old daughter your post." "I explained to her that I’ve never met you, I don’t know you, and I have no idea why you would go out of your way to be hateful," she continued. "It was a good lesson in ignorance. Thank you. I still don’t know you. Congrats. You’re no one." In a follow-up tweet, Pink added: "MOST IMPORTANTLY -what a wasted opportunity here. There are so many pictures you could’ve chosen that were actually me that were worse than this picture, you nameless f***o. At least be creative next time dum dum." Many people jumped in to praise the star, with one hitting back at the poster writing: "It’s not her and she just owned you," to which they replied: "It’s an honour to be called a f***o by Pink. That’s her way of saying 'hey'". Meanwhile, another believed the post to be innocent, saying "I don't think this was meant as an insult to you Pink, it seems a trend on X these days to post a picture of any celeb when addressing another." They continued: "It's supposed to be funny, making the 'reader' assume the poster thinks the celeb posted is the actual celeb they're addressing, and sometimes it is funny, but they don't think about how annoying or hurtful it can be to the person they are addressing." Ice Spice sparks backlash for having 'twerking 16-year-old' in her latest video
Ice Spice has sparked a backlash over her new music video for the single 'Deli' as it features a 16-year-old TikTok twerking. The song is from the 23-year-old's deluxe version of her debut album Like...? and the music video has a fitting location - inside a bodega where the rapper can be seen with bundles of dollar bills. In the video, Ice Spice can also be seen twerking alongside her group, but one underage member, in particular, has caused upset. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter TikTok star Aya Tanjali who is 16 years old with over 6.6m followers, starred in the video as she twerked on top of a counter, much to the shock of viewers who took to social media to slam Tanjali's inclusion. One person said: "There’s no way no one told her having a minor twerking in your music video is a terrible idea." "Having a 16-year-old twerking in your video is just nasty," another person wrote. Someone else added: "Putting a sixteen-year-old girl twerking on her hands and knees in a music video was definitely a choice." "Oh that community note…," a fourth person commented. On Twitter, Ice Spice shared a clip of the music video which included Tanjai but the social media platform has added one of its “Community Notes," where it mentioned the young TikToker. "Viewers should be warned this video features a minor dancing in a sexually provocative manner, which may violate state and federal laws," it read. "One of the dancers in this video is 16 years old, a fact likely known to Ice Spice, as the two follow one another on Instagram." Indy100 has reached out to Ice Spice's representatives for comment. Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg offered 'death' match by wrestling company
Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg offered 'death' match by wrestling company
Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg have been offered the chance to have their fight in a 'Domo De La Muerte' match by the Mexican Lucha Libre (professional wrestling) promotion AAA. Musk and Zuckerberg, the owners of Twitter and Facebook respectively, have 'agreed' to have a cage fight against each other after the challenge was laid down by the Telsa and SpaceX CEO. Zuckerberg, who is trained in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, appeared to respond to the South African billionaire, writing 'send me location' in an Instagram post. It's unknown if this fight will actually take place but if it does they could settle their differences in the six-sided ring of AAA, which was originally known as Asistencia, Asesoría y Administración de Espectáculos. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter In a tweet, the promotion, which was formed in 1992 and boasts stars such as El Hijo del Vikingo, Fenix and Pentagon Jr on its roster, wrote: "Hey, @elonmusk... We got an idea: Musk Vs Zuckerberg, Domo de la Muerte, #TriplemaniaXXXI" For those that don't speak Spanish, 'Domo De La Muerte' translates as 'dome of death' which is basically a cage with a domed roof over the ring, which is full of weapons. Although this would be great to see we can't imagine that Musk or Zuckerberg would be keen to go through with this but the option does appear to be there for a Triplemania XXXI match on July 15th should they want to. Meanwhile, Musk has been offered the assistance of controversial influencer and former kickboxer Andrew Tate, who has offered to train the former richest man in the world for the upcoming Zuckerberg fight. 'Secrets of Penthouse' unfolds the rise and fall of Bob Guccione's porn empire
Having carved out a niche in vaguely sleazy "Secrets of" docuseries beginning with Hugh Hefner and Playboy, A&E finds an ideal and perhaps inevitable playground for the franchise with "Secrets of Penthouse," which basically serves as a four-part biography of the magazine's founder, Bob Guccione. As trashy as one might expect, it's also a rise-and-fall story, told heavily through Guccione's children, about an empire built and lost.

AI in music: The top artists are are for and against the technology
AI in music: The top artists are are for and against the technology
With the rise of AI, we've all seen how powerful this new technology can be particularly when it comes to music. As a result, people have been using AI to perfectly replicate the singing voices of different artists such as Drake, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles in order to make AI covers of different songs. For example, there is a viral AI cover of Harry Styles singing in a duet with Taylor Swift on her track Style which fans have been going crazy about. While AI can also be used to create deep fakes of celebrities too - where the celeb's face is digitally imposed on someone else's body which is often used to spread misinformation or for malicious intent. But what do artists think about this issue? Here are the celebrities who have spoken out so far on the topic of AI: Drake An AI song called "Heart on My Sleeve" that used Drake's and the Weeknd's voices went viral before being taken down by music streaming services. While Drake himself hasn't commented on all the AI songs that have been created, he did express his disapproval of the practice after the rapper responded to an AI-generated cover of him rapping Ice Spice’s “Munch”, writing: “This is the final straw AI.” Grimes Grimes has expressed enthusiasm towards the new AI-generated songs - and has told her fans they can use her voice to create their own tracks. Taking to Twitter, she shared a New York Times article about the viral AI-generated song using Drake and The Weeknd's voice. She wrote: "I'll split 50 per cent royalties on any successful AI-generated song that uses my voice. Same deal as I would with any artist I collab with. Feel free to use my voice without penalty. I have no label and no legal bindings." "I think it's cool to be fused w a machine and I like the idea of open-sourcing all art and killing copyright," she added. Though, later she did add a clarification on the platform as to what circumstances would cause her to get certain AI songs taken down for copyright - where "rly rly toxic lyrics," are used with her voice. "Ok hate this part but we may do copyright takedowns ONLY for rly rly toxic lyrics w grimes voice: imo you'd rly have to push it for me to wanna take smthn down but I guess plz don't be *the worst*. as in, try not to exit the current Overton window of lyrical content w regards to sex/violence. Like no baby murder songs plz," she wrote. "I think I'm Streisand effecting this now but I don't wanna have to issue a takedown and be a hypocrite later. ***That's the only rule." Rly don't like to do a rule but don't wanna be responsible for a Nazi anthem unless it's somehow in jest a la producers I guess "- wud prefer avoiding political stuff but if it's a small meme with ur friends we prob won't penalize that. Probably just if smthn is viral and anti abortion or smthn like that. Grimes added: "Rly rly don't like adding rules so I apologize but this is the only thing." Most recently, the singer and producer has shared a guide on how to do this, and shared the link in a tweet: "HOW TO MAKE MUSIC FEAT GrimesAI - we can distribute it for you and you can earn royalties from your work." Billie Eilish During an appearance on The Late, Late Show with James Corden back in May this year, Billie Eilish shared her thoughts on AI. "I feel like my approach is not as optimistic, I'm a little bit scared of it," she admitted. "I'm a little scared of what someone could create of me doing something with it." Eilish added: "Scary, scary to me, it just looks so real," as she went on to note how it's "One of the most impressive things I've encountered in my life." The singer's comments come after deepfake porn' of singer Eilish was promoted on people's TikTok in December last year.
