Paris Hilton has hit back at people on the internet who mocked the physical appearance of her baby boy, Phoenix. The reality television stalwart had posted a picture of the child, who is nine months old, on Instagram, saying it was her “precious angel baby’s” first time in New York. But some commenters picked up on the size of Phoenix’s head. One person joked: “Y’all he’s just got a lot on his mind leave the kid alone.” Others speculated whether or not Phoenix’s large head was a result of a medical condition. Hotel heiress Hilton responded in the comments section: “There are some sick people in this world. “My angel is perfectly healthy. And yes, of course he has been to a doctor, he just has a large brain.” Hilton and her husband, businessman Carter Reum, welcomed Phoenix on 16 January. They married in 2021. After he was born, she told People magazine: “It’s always been my dream to be a mother, and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other. “We are so excited to start our family together, and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.” Her post featuring the child is the latest example of a celebrity posting a picture of their young children online, also known as sharenting, which has become an increasingly controversial practice. Some experts say parents should avoid posting pictures of their children until they are old enough to give consent. Earlier this year, politicians in France even put forward a bill which would stop mums and dads from making money by posting photos and videos of their kids. Nonetheless, commenters’ jibes on Hilton’s Instagram seem particularly cruel, given Phoenix has no way of defending himself. The negativity surrounding the post even made its way as far as TikTok, where one user posted a video defending the child. They said: “I think Phoenix is adorable... You know he just has a big head because he has a small body and he’s gonna grow into it. “And I also wanna bet that he’s a much cuter baby than most of these people in the comments were when they were babies... Kim Kardashian is GQ's 'Man of the Year' cover star for 2023, but some fans have been left confused over the decision. Each year the magazine selected individuals to receive awards at its highly anticipated awards night. This year Priscilla actor Jacob Elordi and fashion designer Tom Ford are part of those being honoured. Another honouree is Kim Kardashian, and fans are divided after the announcement. In her cover photo, the Skims founder is wearing an 80s-esque suit whilst eating a bag of Cheetos. Many seemingly have an issue with Kim being the cover star for the 2023 Men of the Year issue. "Kim Kardashian is your Man of the Year??? Be serious for a damn second", wrote one user on Twitter/X. "When you didn't understand the assignment", wrote another. "I'm sorry but did you just say 'man' ????? That is a [woman]." A third added: Some appeared to be quite angry over the decision. With one user arguing to was a "dunking on men" and that they will "never purchase Skims." However, many loved the photoshoot and spoke about how Kim's launch of Skims Men and the brand's partnership with the NBA were "the biggest disruptors of the mens garment industry this year." And is likely the main reason behind her gracing the cover of GQ. "Everyday I find a new reason why Kim Kardashian is really that girl... this woman does everything", wrote another fan.
