LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The irreverent and endlessly witty 'Family Guy' has never been one to shy away from taking a comedic jab at high-profile personalities, and this time, the spotlight turns to none other than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
In the latest episode of the long-running animated sitcom series, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex found themselves as the target of playful mockery for their multi-million-dollar Netflix deal, leaving audiences in fits of laughter, as per the New York Post.
'Family Guy' takes a jab at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's major Netflix deal
On Sunday, October 22, episode of 'Family Guy', animated Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen by the pool after the duo was humorously compared with the show's protagonist, Peter Griffin, while he lounges at a bar with his friends.
Worried about retrieving his owed money, Griffin decides to embark on a global adventure, much like the royal couple when they announced their exit from senior British monarchy roles in late 2022. Griffin boldly exclaims, "I'll go it alone, just like Meghan Markle and Prince Harry."
The scene transitions to cartoon versions of Harry and Meghan, approached by a butler bearing a stack of envelopes, announcing, "Sir, your millions from Netflix for no one knows what," alluding to the $100 million Netflix deal inked by the couple back in 2020.
Subsequently, the Prince dismissively waves him away, quipping, "Put it with the rest of them." Meanwhile, Meghan's phone receives a notification, and she casually mentions, "Babe, time to do our daily $250,000 sponsored Instagram post for Del Taco."
The comical sketch concludes with Harry expressing a hint of regret for leaving his life of privilege in Britain, lamenting, "I shouldn't have left the made-up nonsense."

This isn't the first time that the royal couple has been lampooned in an animated series. A mere eight months ago, Comedy Central's enduring hit show, 'South Park', also took a jab at the Sussexes in an episode aptly titled 'The Worldwide Privacy Tour'.
Soon after the 'Family Guy' episode aired, netizens took to social media sites, especially X (formerly Twitter), to show their amusement.

Meghan Markle is working to repair her image
Recent reports from Express UK suggest that Meghan Markle is attempting to mend her image.
An insider remarked that she has "burned so many bridges" and "nobody is that interested unless she comes with Prince Harry."
Despite securing a contract with talent agency William Morris Endeavor (WME), which boasts a roster of prominent clients, there are currently no impending projects on the horizon for the couple, and their reputation remains tarnished.
