Fans think Titanic's alternative ending would've 'ruined' the film
Despite being 25 years old, Titanic has remained a classic film, but it almost had a very different ending. In an unearthed clip, the film's alternate ending shows Rose threatening to throw the iconic necklace overboard on the ship when she's stopped by her granddaughter and partner Brock Lovett. She hands over the necklace for a brief moment, before taking it back and launching it into the ocean. "You look for treasure in the wrong places, Mr Lovett. Only life is priceless and making each day count", she says. Click here to sign up for our newsletters

Hugh Grant as an Oompa Loompa in Wonka called a 'hellish nightmare'
The first look at the new Willy Wonka film, appropriately called Wonka, has debuted its trailer online and people are just a little bit stunned by Hugh Grant's appearance. The new movie, directed by Paddington director Paul King, is set to hit cinemas in December and will see Timothee Chalamet take on the iconic role from the Roald Dahl novel, previously played by the likes of Johnny Depp and Gene Wilder. This film though is a prequel to Wonka's adventures in his famous chocolate factory. Instead, it sees a much younger Wonka setting up his empire and hist first ever shop. Although his awe-inspiring factory is unlikely to feature in the film, there are a few little references to the man he would become including the iconic Oompa Loompa's who helped Wonka run the factory. However, in another surprising career move, Hugh Grant will play an Oompa Loompa in the new movie, which is a lot different to the foppish heartthrob roles that he played in the 90s but still looks very entertaining given the short snippet we see at the end of this trailer. Reaction to Hugh Grant in the film, has been mixed to say the least with some fascinated by it and others horrified. Wonka is set to hit cinemas on December 15th. Have your say in our news democracy. Margot Robbie says it took just one question to get John Cena in the Barbie movie
Margot Robbie has recalled the one question that it took to convince John Cena to join the cast of Greta Gerwig's Barbie. "He was shooting at (Warner Bros Studios) Leavesden where we shot the film as well and I was like, ‘That’s where we’re shooting Barbie’", she recalls. "I was like, ‘Do you wanna come be a Merman in Barbie?’ He was like, ‘Uh, yeah’ and I was like, ;surely he’s not gonna agree to it just like that.'" Click here to sign up for our newsletters

The truth behind the 'hologram' that handed Drake a book at concert
Music fans were left mind-blown last week when Drake was seemingly handed a book by a 'hologram' of his younger self during a concert in Chicago - but all is not as it seems. In fact, it turns out a real person was sat next to the rapper, which would make sense when it comes to physical interaction (and not by the power of magic). Instead, an AI hologram was reportedly placed over the actor's face, to make it look like he was Drake. Click here to sign up for our newsletters

Margot Robbie's Barbie stunt double says she wasn't told what the movie was about
Margot Robbie's body double in Barbie says she had no idea what the hotly anticipated film was about. Barbie marks Emma Eastwood's first gig as a body double after she applied to be an extra but got turned down. She was then hired to be Robbie's hand double but later took on more prominent scenes in the film. In a recent interview with The New York Times, Eastwood candidly shared that she didn't quite know the concept of Barbie. "They did a very good job of keeping the plot hidden," Eastwood said, adding that she wasn't given "any details" about what they would be doing. Sign up for our free Indy100 weekly newsletter "There were a couple times they said the whole cast would be there and it would be an important day, but they never actually gave me any details of what we would be doing until I was on set," she continued. In one scene, Eastwood said she was required to lie on the ground for an hour. "When I got up, I literally felt drunk," she told the publication. "I have no idea what that scene was about." Another scene saw her walk up a flight of stairs as though her feet hurt. Eastwood finally lifted the lid on her recent endeavour in a Twitter post, where she told followers she can now publicly reveal she worked as Robbie's doube. "Had the best experience of my life and will absolutely never shut up about it," she wrote. Greta Gerwig's Barbie, featuring Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Kate McKinnon, Will Ferrell, Micheal Cera and Issa Rae, is set to hit cinemas on 21 July. Have your say in our news democracy.
