Gary Lineker has called out Elon Musk for content he’s been subjected to on Twitter/X, and it’s not for the first time. The Match of the Day presenter hit out at the CEO of the social media site and replied to a “scam” new link which falsely claimed that Lineker was stepping away from his job in the media. The former England footballer responded to an account with a blue tick and 28 followers, a link with the caption: “Gary Lineker says goodbye and ends his career as a sports journalist.” “This is a scam. Do not click on it. So much of this on here now @elonmusk,” Lineker wrote. Lineker has been critical of Musk since he took over at Twitter. In a recent interview with the Guardian, the sports pundit said the tech mogul was bad at running the social media platform, and called him "rubbish". He said: "As for Elon Musk, I think perhaps the most interesting thing for me is that, for someone that’s spent so much money on Twitter, he is actually not very good on Twitter. He’s rubbish. I think that’s quite amusing.” Lineker also previously challenged Twitter/X and Musk after his son received abuse on the platform. Musk bought Twitter last year and since doing so has been criticised for making a number of unpopular changes like making people pay for their blue ticks and renaming Twitter 'X' recently. Season 32 of "Dancing With the Stars" has an interesting lineup.

Pink hit back at a troll who tried to use a photo of Suzy Eddie Izzard as an insult. The 'So What' singer celebrated her 44th birthday last week, and was inundated with thousands of well wishes from family, friends and fans. But one caught the star's attention – mainly because a random X/Twitter account tried to compare her to Izzard. The viral post simply said "Happy birthday" while tagging Pink, and included a photo of the British stand-up comedian and actor. In response, Pink thanked the account, before explaining that she "just showed my 12 year old daughter your post." "I explained to her that I’ve never met you, I don’t know you, and I have no idea why you would go out of your way to be hateful," she continued. "It was a good lesson in ignorance. Thank you. I still don’t know you. Congrats. You’re no one." In a follow-up tweet, Pink added: "MOST IMPORTANTLY -what a wasted opportunity here. There are so many pictures you could’ve chosen that were actually me that were worse than this picture, you nameless f***o. At least be creative next time dum dum." Many people jumped in to praise the star, with one hitting back at the poster writing: "It’s not her and she just owned you," to which they replied: "It’s an honour to be called a f***o by Pink. That’s her way of saying 'hey'". Meanwhile, another believed the post to be innocent, saying "I don't think this was meant as an insult to you Pink, it seems a trend on X these days to post a picture of any celeb when addressing another." They continued: "It's supposed to be funny, making the 'reader' assume the poster thinks the celeb posted is the actual celeb they're addressing, and sometimes it is funny, but they don't think about how annoying or hurtful it can be to the person they are addressing." Ariana Grande has candidly opened up about how she used to 'hide' herself with cosmetic procedures, before falling in love with her lines and previous insecurities. “Full transparency, as a beauty person, as I do my lips, [I’ve] had a ton of lip filler over the years and Botox. I stopped in 2018 because I just felt so… [it was] too much. You heard it. Amber Heard mained Overwatch healer Mercy for Elon Musk. Or at least that's according to Elon Musk's new biography, penned by Walter Isaacson. Isaacson spent two years on Musk's trail, and has shared plenty of details in his new book, suitably titled 'Elon Musk'. Many of those details explain Musk's relationships, and it goes fairly deep on his on-again-off-again relationship with the Aquaman star. Including the pair's costumed habits off-set. According to Isaacson's biography, Heard allegedly ordered the commission of the Mercy costume to 'roleplay' the character after a two-month design process. All because she wanted to role-play the video game character for Musk after he said Heard resembled the character. Mercy could be Musk's favourite for a few reasons. Urban Dictionary lists 'Mercy Main' as a person who has the most play time on Mercy often being referred to being a "Mom Friend", 'Weeb', thirsty freak or egirl, with questionable abilities on the hero. Kotaku note that the character is particularly popular in online adult animations that feature Overwatch. All un-officially sanctioned, of course. Heading back to the pair, the biography details how their relationship started. Musk first noticed Heard in her role in Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills. Heard also became interested in Musk and his work - meeting him at SpaceX a year later. She reportedly told Isaacson that "I guess I could be called a geek for someone who can also be called a hot chick." And it also shows a light on how it ended, according to Heard. "Elon loves fire, and sometimes it burns him," Heard told Isaacson. Ouch. The MTV VMAs have been and gone for another year, with many calling the event one of the best in recent times. From Nicki Minaj hosting the show and sharing a snippet from her upcoming album Pink Friday 2 to Shakira accepting the Vanguard award and Selena Gomez's viral reaction to a Chris Brown nomination, the VMAs certainly put on a show. Now, let's face it. No award show would be complete with wild Satanist accusations – and this year, it was Doja Cat's turn. Doja's incredible performance included three lead singles from her upcoming album Scarlet: 'Attention,' 'Paint the Town Red,' and 'Demons'. The internet is losing it after a TikToker shared a voicemail from 2019, in which Olivia Rodrigo seemingly mistakes the total stranger for her doctor. In the clip, the singer's distinct voice can be heard, and she even introduces herself, as she goes on to explain how she 'tried to schedule an appointment' and asking them to 'call back'. Attention Swifties... if you're looking to make your love for Taylor Swift a full-time job then you're in luck as USA Today and The USA Today Network’s newspaper The Tennessean are looking for a Taylor Swift reporter. No doubt the chosen candidate will be writing about Swift's career, the Eras tour and of course the Easter eggs the star loves to hide for her fans to find, as well as Swiftie conspiracy theories. In the role posted on September 12, the publication detailed why they are looking for a reporter to specifically focus on the global superstar. “Swift’s fanbase has grown to unprecedented heights, and so has the significance of her music and growing legacy. We are looking for an energetic writer, photographer and social media pro who can quench an undeniable thirst for all things Taylor Swift with a steady stream of content across multiple platforms," it read. It's been quite the year for Swift, who is the world's biggest artist with her record-breaking Eras Tour in North America, becoming the first woman to break 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify, as well as announcing she's releasing an Eras Tour concert film with AMC Theatres and smashing ticket sale records at $26 million. With all this in mind, the job description outlined what can be expected of the successful candidate. "Seeing both the facts and the fury, the Taylor Swift reporter will identify why the pop star’s influence only expands, what her fanbase stands for in pop culture, and the effect she has across the music and business worlds. "We are looking for a journalist with a voice — but not a bias — able to quickly cultivate a national audience through smart content designed to meet readers on their terms.” As the Eras Tour is set to resume in South America in November this year, followed by Asia, Australia and Europe next year, the reporter will be covering all the important moments from the live shows. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the US, except for Alaska and Hawaii or based at our headquarters in McLean, VA, and international travel is also required in the role. In terms of qualifications, The USA Today Network wants somebody with a minimum of five years of journalism experience. Kanye 'Ye' West and his rumoured wife Bianca Censori have caused a stir in recent weeks with a series of risqué outfits while travelling Italy. In the latest string of photos, the pair were spotted enjoying a shopping day in Florence. The snaps show the rapper donning his usual all-black attire, including a tee, pants, a hood – and no shoes. Censori, a former Yeezy employee, was seen wearing a sheer, nude bandeau top paired with a pair of black shorts and heels. It comes after Censori was spotted holding a pillow on a day out in Italy after locals complained about her "offensive" outfits. The photos were shared on X/Twitter, with one writing: "How completely ridiculous these people are. Put on some clothes and then you won’t have to take a hotel room cushion out sightseeing with you - and you even get your arms free! Novel concept." Another added: "Kanye & Bianca Censori are unhinged. Someone ought to stage an intervention. Wearing a pillow? Him walking in socks?" The pair were previously banned from a Venice boat company after West exposed his bare bottom to onlookers, while Censori rested her head on his lap. Venezia Turismo Motoscafi has since revealed the couple will "no longer be welcome" on any of their boats. In a statement, the company said staff were "completely unaware" West had dropped his pants, as they were focusing on water traffic.
