The singer has since revealed that fans completely misunderstood the track, leading him to have a reputation as a "player". "It was a big misconception with that song because that song is not a cheating song," he told People. "It’s an anti-cheating song. It’s just that nobody listened to the record to the end." The Jamaica-born singer continued: "There’s a part in the record where it’s a conversation between two people and you have one guy, which is me at that point, giving that bad advice, like, ‘Yo, bro, how could you get caught? Just tell her, ‘It wasn’t me', and then at the end, the guy says, 'I’m going to tell her that I’m sorry for the pain that I’ve caused.' Excerpts from an upcoming memoir by The Umbrella Academy actor Elliot Page have revealed the Juno star allegedly received a rape threat from an “acquaintance” at a Los Angeles party – six years before they came out as transgender. Page came out as gay in 2014, but in a section of the book seen and shared by People, the 36-year-old details an incident at a birthday party two months later in which the unnamed individual claimed, “you aren’t gay – that doesn’t exist” and that the Canadian was “just afraid of men”. The chapter, titled “Famous A**hole at Party”, goes on to add the male then reportedly told Page: “I’m going to f*** you to make you realise you aren’t gay.” Despite the threat of ‘corrective rape’ – a hate crime where the abuser seeks to change or ‘cure’ a person’s sexuality, often to heterosexuality – the anonymous actor apparently told Page at the gym, where they saw each other again a few days later, that they “don’t have a problem with gay people, I swear.” “I think you might,” Page replied. Expanding on the situation, Page told People he’s had “some version” of the incident “happen many times throughout my life”. A London chicken shop has been left flabbergasted after Beyoncé ordered over £2,000 worth of food to cater for those at her Flannels x Renaissance pop-up this week. The singer has been known to indulge in Nando's and Indian takeouts during her UK concert stint, but opted for Chicken Shop in Baker Street for the exclusive event, ordering 50 chicken burgers, 600 chicken tenders, 75 portions of fries, and 20 vegan burgers. Chrissy Teigen has left fans riveted after explaining the shocking discovery of an unknown “identical twin”. In a video shared to Instagram, the model and entrepreneur said she'd had an “insane 24 hours” after attempting to find out more about her past and family history. Teigen explained that her doctor and therapist supported her doing a 23andMe test that might help reveal more about her health. She continued: “I paid for some of the upgrades and the first thing that came up, after I found out that I was part Neanderthal, was this – I have an identical twin.” The discovery that she had a twin with a “100 per cent” DNA match left Tiegen “spiralling” and scrambling for answers. She explained that she messaged the identical twin via the website, spoke to 23andMe’s customer service robot, and messaged her dad to find out if she really had a twin she knew nothing about. Teigen said: “At this point, I’m making excuses for my whole life. I’m like, this is why I’m so co-dependent because my twin was ripped away from me.” Eventually, though, the mystery was solved with the help of Tiegen’s sister’s good memory. “My sister was like, ‘Chrissy, no remember when you were supposed to do that show [about] finding your roots and so they had us all take DNA tests and they put it under secret names so the world couldn’t tell’.” She explained that the show never aired and she had forgotten all about taking the test, but realised she had simply matched with herself. “My identical twin was myself. The stream itself was to promote the online cryptocurrency casino Stake, and it was when Drake wanted to gift $499.99 in subscribers to a streamer known only as Daisy that he experienced some problems. And it all unfolded while Daisy was broadcasting herself getting a foot massage. As you do. After entering a verification code to authorise the purchase, the dialogue box disappeared to show the payment hadn’t in fact gone through and Drake would have to try and pay again. Clarkson’s Farm presenter and former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has become the latest TV personality to speak out in defence of Phillip Schofield, as the ex-This Morning star continues to face intense online and media scrutiny over an affair with a younger male colleague. In May, the broadcaster quit ITV before later issuing a statement via the Daily Mail in which he confirmed he had a “consensual on-off relationship” with the individual which was “unwise, but not illegal”. “I am painfully conscious that I have lied to my employers at ITV, to my colleagues and friends, to my agents, to the media and therefore the public and most importantly of all to my family. “I am so very, very sorry, as I am for having been unfaithful to my wife,” Schofield said. Then, in an interview with the BBC’s media editor Amol Rajan after revealing the relationship, he said he understood “how Caroline Flack felt” and that if his daughters “hadn’t been there” for him last week, “I wouldn’t be here”. Everyone who’s ever walked past him in the street must be sacked as well. “And those who paid his wages or sat next to him in the studio must be hauled into televised committees so that bramble bushes can be inserted into their bottoms. I’ve never seen a witch hunt like it, and what baffles me most of all is that, as things stand, no crime has been committed,” he continued. However, Twitter users aren’t too supportive of Clarkson’s remarks about a “witch hunt”, seeing as he received widespread condemnation in December for a controversial piece in which he claimed he dreams of the Duchess of Sussex being made to “parade naked” in public while people “throw lumps of excrement” at her: Clarkson’s not the only person to be accused of “hypocrisy” over his comments about Schofield and a “witch hunt”, either, as former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan’s own attacks on Meghan were brought up following his remarks on the scandal. “Unless Phillip Schofield’s ex-lover contradicts his version of events to The Sun and BBC, then it’s time to stop this relentless persecution of a guy who’s lost everything and looks right on the edge to me.
