LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: An insider has revealed the details about Jamie Foxx as he recovers from a "medical complication" after being hospitalized in April. Although the specifics of his illness have not been disclosed, the source said, "His family have wanted him to recover in peace. He needed some time to get better, and they wanted to keep things private until he was completely out of the woods."
"That's why there's been so much secrecy," they explained, according to OK Magazine. "He's supposedly playing pickleball already," the insider told the outlet while referring to his daughter Corrine Foxx's recent social media post about her father.

Jamie Foxx's daughter shares update
The 'Django Unchained' actor's oldest daughter has continuously updated fans about his health throughout the time he was hospitalized. The 29-year-old previously criticized an article on May 12 after it claimed she and her family are "preparing for the worst" regarding her father's condition. "Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support!" she wrote.
"We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!" she added, referring to the then-secret 'We Are Family' series. She had also shared an initial statement about the 'Baby Driver' actor's health issues just a month ago. "We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery," she wrote at the time.
