Piers Morgan has waded into the ongoing controversy surrounding the ITV show This Morning following the abrupt departure of Phillip Schofield and compared the drama to a Quentin Tarantino movie. The daytime tv show has been rocked by a series of allegations in recent weeks which started with claims that long-term hosts Schofield and Holly Willoughby were no longer talking to each other behind the scenes. Things came to a head on 20th May when Schofield announced that he would be departing the show after 25 years at the helm. On May 26th, Schofield then issued a statement stating that he had "lied to his colleagues" and during his time on the show was involved in a "consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague." Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Willoughby then countered this by releasing her own statement which said that it was "hurtful" that she had been lied to as she had questioned Schofield about the relationship rumours. Rumours have since persisted that the culture on the show was 'toxic' with Dr Ranj Singh saying that he had grown "increasingly worried" during his time on the program. Schofield has since claimed that there was "no toxicity" on the set of This Morning something that was reiterated on air by stand-in hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary on Monday's edition of the show. With the dust still settling on the situation former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan said his two cents on the matter. On Twitter, the 58-year-old wrote: "I fear we’re now entering the Reservoir Dogs phase of the This Morning scandal… and it could end up with a lot of corpsed careers." In case you are unaware, Reservoir Dogs was Tarantino's first movie from 1992 and features a gang of criminals all trying to violently outwit each other after a bank heist goes wrong. It remains to be seen what the future holds for This Morning and all those involved in the show but we sincerely hope that it isn't anything like the bloody finale of Reservoir Dogs. The 25-year-old YouTuber, the real name Jimmy Donaldson, has returned to one of his big-scale projects for his latest video after recently embarking on philanthropic endeavours such as helping people see and hear again. His new video was very different in comparison as was similar to something that you might see in Squid Game. It involved 100 contestants aged 1 to 100 all trapped inside clear plastic boxes. The winner will receive $500k as a reward. The video clocks in at 25 minutes and all things aside it is a genuinely well put together and compelling watch. It's fair to say that it has gone down well with his fans. One person wrote: "This is one of the best Mr. Beast videos ive ever seen. It had the competitiveness and drama that we expect from challenges but added great representation throughout all the ages and some amazing emotional and heartwarming roller coasters. Well done!" Another added: "This is by far my most favorite challenge from Jimmy!" A third said: "This was actually epic. Way to take elements of other reality shows and make it your own." Kim Kardashian is used to facing criticism by now and is once again being called out by fans after making a comment about struggling to raise four kids with ‘no one there’. Last week, the Skims founder went on Jay Shetty’s podcast On Purpose. After their very public divorce, Kim has been openly talking about being a single mother, raising her and Kanye West’s four children. Talking about the struggles of co-parenting, Kim shared that she can find it very difficult to parent her children and manage their mood swings with ‘no one there’ to help her out. With all the moods and the personalities." "Sometimes, it’s nights where we are going hour by house to see if we’re gonna survive. Night by night. If a tantrum comes in, oh my god. Your life is completely upside down," she shared. The internet were divided by Kim’s comments, with many noting the multiple nannies that Kim is often surrounded by, and that she failed to acknowledge that compared to average mothers she has a lot more support. With some accusing the billionaire of pretending to be 'middle class'. One person wrote: "She also talks as if she doesn’t have a full staff of people helping her wtf." Another added: "Kim has four nannies, one assigned to each kid. Motherhood is not hard. Nannies are raising her kids. She needs [to] stop trying to act like she’s middle class."
