LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift, who has always dominated the fashion scene with her sartorial choices, recently wore a $112 jacket to the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Denver Broncos on Thursday, October 12.
Swift appeared as the most fashionable fan of the Chiefs as she made a comeback to Arrowhead Stadium to see Travis Kelce’s team defeat the Broncos 19-8.
However, the bright red jacket that the ‘Lover’ singer wore to the game might be a swift nod to Erin Andrews - one half of the pair that advocated for Travis Kelce.
Who designed Taylor Swift’s windbreaker?
The jacket has been designed by Erin Andrews, who along with her podcast host partner Charissa Thompson urged the 12-times Grammy-winning singer to give the 2-time Super Bowl champion a chance upon learning his crush on Swift.
In their 'Calm Down Podcast', Andrews said, "Taylor, I don't know what you're doing in your life right now besides rocking the world [on The Eras Tour]," reported AOL.
Andrews continued, "Please, try our friend, Travis. He is fantastic. I know we're not the best of friends, we're not even friends, but I consider you one. Take us up on this. Go on a date with this guy. Do it for America."
Like a gentleman, Kelce thanked the duo on Instagram when Swift indeed went on a date with him. He said, "😂😂 You two are something else!!" before adding, "🙌🏻🙌🏻 I owe you big time!!"
After Swift appeared for the first game wearing a red jacket, the demand for the same garment skyrocketed.
Andrews, who has a fashion label named WEAR dedicated to providing female sports fans with the garments of their favorite teams, sent Swift a jacket from her line following her first appearance at the Chiefs’ game.
She later told Variety, “Our windbreakers sold out the next day,” before adding, “Our sales have gone through the roof with Kansas City.”
Hoping that Swift will wear one of the merchandizes that she sent, Andrews had earlier noted, “I hope to God she puts something on that we have that we’ve sent,” before adding, “Her fans, they’re so powerful. They just want to get close to whatever she’s associated with. I find it fascinating.”
Her prayers were answered Swift wore the windbreaker from her line to watch her rumored beau take on the Broncos.
